From my chats with different dealers in 2021, there are probably as many leases as there were of the basic models.

Configurator is now available on lexus.ca for the 2023 IS.

Price went up a bit from last year, but not much.

The 500 is only available in Premium, no options whatsoever. So no more BBS for Canada on the 500.

So I was contacted by a sales rep at Butler Lexus in Union City. He has a 2023 IS 500 allocated and wants to make a deal. WARNING: It’s $10K over sticker, but maybe someone here is more adept at getting them down.

Is it actually Atomic Silver?

I'd definitely be interested if MSRP... 10k over is a bit much for me.

I'm perfectly fine skipping the IS 500 (or any other car) that would require a $10K market adjustment. $2000 would be my limit and hopefully that would include dealer level add ons.

We have 3 vehicles and I have no problem using them until the market settles down, even if it takes 5 years and I "miss" some great cars.

I'm an enthusiast but my common sense has not been euthanized.

There are numerous Lexus dealers that do the IS500 at MSRP and no add-ons. It's the customer's job to sniff them out.

That part. 👍🏽

It’s stressful and takes lots of time scrolling through posts, but worth it in the end.

I think up to 2k is fair, since that's about what you'll pay to ship it or travel costs anyway. I felt the same way, really wanted it but even said no to a dealership who went as low as 3500 above MSRP

I would think that some accessories are necessary right? I mean at least the floor and trunk mats at a minimum. I kept my cargo net from my '15, but never use it. I think it's wack that some dealerships charge for the key fob gloves!

Agreed. I'm currently on 3 dealer lists where they agreed to sell at MSRP. We'll see how that plays out.

When I dealt with Pembroke Pines earlier, I was willing to pay $2500 over for my spec. It was against my better judgment and I got hives when I offered to pay some of the ransom 😂, but the availability window was clearly closing. Luckily they didn’t accept it, because giving away free money would’ve bothered me forever.

After going through this experience and loving the car as much as I do, my stance on paying markups has softened. If it works for you, do it. I’ll respect it either way…

I was just offered a 2023 IS500 Premium in Cloudburst Gray with Black Interior with BBS wheels at Lexus of Palm Beach. I have passed on the vehicle so it is available for whoever wants it. I got this information straight from the inventory manager, not a sales person so she wasn't sure if an ADM would apply. She was going to inquire and let me know. If this car interests you, call and ask for Lorraine Robertson and tell her Antonio with the IS sent you. If she is gone ask for Sebastien and likewise tell him I sent you. They are both amazing to work with. Disclaimer: I stem to make absolutely $0 from this so I apologize in advance if theres an ADM.

As for me, I am waiting to see if they get a Molten Pearl. That's the only spec I'd actually consider. She says that she currently sees 0 molten pearls allocated in the US. And I whole heartedly believe her. When everyone told me it'd be impossible to get my IS350 in my ideal spec, she ordered it without any issue, and sure enough, I got it.
