Default Oil Filter and Oil Drain Plug Replacement

Hi everyone,

Can someone please tell me what type of oil filter and oil drain plug (thread size) the Lexus IS500 takes?
I assume it's the same as the LC500, but I want to be sure.

Do I need to replace o-rings, gaskets, etc. during an oil change?

Are there any pictures, diagrams, photos, etc. available of the drain plug location?

Finally, I want to replace my oil drain plug with this: https://ezoildrainvalve.com/index.html
for easier oil changes. Any pitfalls to that?

Thank-you in advance, I know it's a lot of questions, but I'm a bit of a noob and just want to learn. :-)

I've used those valves on a few cars without issue.

Here's the OEM filter I got:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KWDV3O2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KWDV3O2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Filter o-ring should always be swapped.
Thread size should be 12mmx1.25.
I'll be swapping my drain plug out for Fumoto valve after my two free changes at Lexus. The one you linked should work the same. Here's a pic of my recent oil change:

Thanks, I looked over it and I think I will get the magnetic drain plug. Any experience with that?
