That is great for a V8! I get 34 on the highway in the LS 500 though lol it's a pretty big difference at $7 bucks a gallon here.

^^ $2,46 per LITER for premium last time I filled up... Damn it's getting crazy! But still, SPG is more important than MPG!

@jororo I’m really glad you guys decided to keep the car. I went through the melting dashboard & door panels madness with my ‘06 IS 350. The door handles became so sticky, they had to be wrapped in black electrical tape. It was 6 months of hell, but Lexus made it right and I’m glad I stuck with them. Hang in there!!

Yep. Soft surfaces on the driver's door on my 2008 IS 350 also deteriorated before it was replaced with the 500. Bizarre.

I had my ‘06 for about 5 or 6 more years after the dash and door panels were replaced. At different times the dealership and corporate tested my normally jovial disposition. Twitter was a great equalizer back then, made it hard to be ignored or slow-walked. 😁

So I was browsing around on the TIS Manuals website and by forcing the source code to search for a 2023 Lexus IS500, it populates an Emergency Guide for first responders. No manual just yet. However, I would say this is a clear indication that the IS500 will be back for 2023 at the very least. When you search for a 2024 IS500, that generates no result which leads me to believe that the 2023 IS500 is confirmed.

Now you're asking for too much lmfao. 2023 markups will undoubtedly be worst than the 2022 ones because they can actually show you that the car is super rare and hasn't been produced for months. I think it's safe to say that IS500 production is done for 2022 since they just released the July financing offers and they removed the IS500 altogether (even the grad rebate) and the regular IS offers specifically say "excludes IS500".
