I can confirm the fenders are different. The bumper is actually 2 inches longer, but the actual front part is exactly the same (the headlights are also 2 inches away from the car), so it's basically both sides of the bumper that are stretched, so this means the fender/bumper angle isn't the same.

In reference to me, the better question: “When was the last time you pulled off like a normal person?” 😜

Constant hard starts, constant manual shifts points right before the rev limiter, constant mountain carvings, constant high rate of speed…

My car constantly gets a full workout and mine is fine. 🤷🏽‍♂️

8300 glorious miles since March 4th and I love this beast more everyday.

As if this thread won't die. I went over a hard bump in the road (where a bridge meets the road, a particularly harsh transition) and came home to see the driver side apron slightly sagging as in all the photos others have shared.

I do not believe this is related to the torque of the engine, but rather a simple clip failure. The clip just seems unable to handle the extra mass/lever arm of the extended fanders.

Anyway, old news. No one cares

now that there are 2023’s you’d think they’d have a perm fix

We have some movement! Ryan posted this to our car group:

“Confirmed my bumper was replaced to be sent to Japan R&D. The retaining clips are suspected to be out of spec - the manufacturer is checking tolerances on the plastic retaining clips (they are not made by Lexus where the bumper is). They think only some of their stock of the retainers are out of spec.”

So nothing to do with a weaker frame, or increased torque loads. Shocking, truly shocking.
