it's funny/ironic how we're over here talking about upgrading to RCF/GSF LCA bushings and those owners are talking crap about the OEM bushings on their cars.

in case anyone was wondering, P/N 48075-24010 and 48076-24010 for LCA bushings and retail for about $82 but can get them as low as $64.50

Moderators Sorry we got a bit off topic for teh thread but I will just post one last comment if I may....You can move it to the general IS 500 thread if you want to move the last few posts about the LCA bushings too.

cp2 - TBH, there isn't anything wrong with the OEM LC bushings in that they do the job. Keep in mind these bushings have been on the IS since the 2013 MY and we know they tend to be a bit soft and promote a bit of excessive LCA movement hence leads to premature tire wear also. The IS 500 has the same suspension as the IS 350 DHP hence the same bushings so while they offer an amazing ride quality, they is room for improvement. The GS F/RC F parts are a bit stiffer and it makes sense given it is an F model so while one doesn't need to upgrade, for those that want a slightly (and by this I mean minor) better steering response and a decreased tire wear in the front without compromising on the Lexus driving signature, this is a relatively inexpensive mod.

People are spending thousands of dollars to change the way their IS sounds, or will install lowering springs or coilovers to improve the stance hence some don't mind tinkering a bit with what Lexus offered to make it a bit better or enhance their preference. Heck, I even changed the wheels because I didn't like how Lexus spec'd the Enkei wheels (on the white car, and that is just my opinion). Bottom line, Lexus gave us a wonderful car but some people will take a great recipe and add a little bit of extra spice just to please their own taste preference

You will also need to do a studs conversion if you are putting spacers on. I don't think there's any spacers out there that are compatible with lug bolts.

I"m in the same boat here, would love a link to simplify what I'm looking to do, there's a ton of options on H&R's site and I don't know what I'm looking for.

Spacers are easy, the H&R spacers intended for is350/gs350 work on our cars.

The issue is, you won’t be bolting the spacers to the hub. You either do a stud conversion with lug nuts (porsche style if using stock bbs wheels).

or you get longer wheel bolts, also porsche style if stock wheels.

The hub interface is very positive, it’s so long (like 12mm?) that the spacer is held on by friction…not quite a machined fit but close.

My lug conversion came from Motorsport Hardware. I stayed with 14 size. Some people convert to 12 to work with aftermarket wheels.

Where I get confused because I don't know a lot about cars when it comes to the little things, is your signature says 15mm F/20mm R Spacers, I don't really know what that means.

On their site they have 15mm, they also have 20mm, so this is why I was asking for a link so I know I'm ordering the right thing. I also have no idea on a lug conversion or what to order for that.

Not trying to be a pain, I'm just not as knowledgeable as most of you on this topic.
