Default Manual mode lag

Does anyone here experience a lag in the transmission in manual mode when the engine is not warmed up? Seems to be more responsive when engine is warm.

Howdy.
It is well documented on this forum and many reviews that the transmission is a bit of a dog when not warmed up, however, once warmed up and if driving aggressively, it livens up significantly. From my personal experience, shifts done in the 4600-redline rpm range on a warmed trans are very fast. up or down

That has been my experience. If I have been driving for a bit even past the engine warm up there is some lag when manually shifting. So I try to wait a little longer before romping on it :/
