no surprise with your response, but someone else's decision making doesn't make "me" and idiot per your quote. it may make them a/an (insert your adjective).

Yes I apologize, that was incorrect grammar on my part. Subject verb agreement error.

There's exceptions to every rule, but I feel most folks who make that much money would have at least some semblance of fiscal responsibility or knowledge on the matter. Would seem odd that a person with that much money to not care about the extra cost would spend it on the IS500 vs say the RCF or LC500. But who knows, I'll still say the person is a doodie head for justifying these markups for us normal folks

To read or hear ‘doodie head’ makes 10 year old me snicker gleefully. 🤭

Thanks for posting! Hopefully one of us will act fast. I didn’t see anything about a markup, so fingers crossed there are no surprises.

The one at Lexus of Henderson is listed as already purchased. All 3 come with the Black Wheel options. The one at Greenville has $5k markup attached.

'Memba when people said they're going to wait for the 2023 to come out because the supply would be better and prices would be lower?

Heard back from my sales rep in OKC today, said today’s allocation did not include any IS 500s. 😔

Seems to be extremely slow allocation flow. As far as I know, the East Coast has 0 so far, minus that one if PA that I am not sure even exists because they call it a 350 and it has no sticker.

Not quite. Southeast Florida has at least one confirmed allocation that was offered to me. I have the V-spec with a VIN and everything. And another dealer in my area claims they got one as well but I don't have the Vspec for that one.

My dealer told me they also have one coming for their former #2 and now #1 person on the list.

They're trickling in for sure. Part of me wants to say that those that want premiums actually have it easier this year, which kind of makes sense. Assume that Lexus wants to cap IS500 production at 1000 per year for example, last year that meant only 500 were premiums and the rest were LEs. This year all 1000 will be premiums. I pulled the 1000 out of my *** but you get the jyst.
