I am picking it up January 3rd for personal property tax reasons.
Congratulations BTW!

Lexus of Kendall in Miami just called stating that the customer that was going to buy the car backed out due to value loss on Bitcoin investment. (haha - not sure on that story). Anyway, they offered me the car at MSRP of $65,535 plus $5K markup (reduced from $10K markup). I said I'd pass.

The sales person is to talk to sales management about my offer and call me back if accepted.

I Hope you get it for MSRP. Are they not aware of the market? I hope anyone else talking to them holds off as well and does not pay the $5k over and you get the car for what it is worth. 🤞🏼

For MSRP the IS500 is worth it that's why I jumped asap back in January.

Way to stay strong on MSRP pricing! I hope you get a call with great news!

I have a Molten Pearl coming in within the next month. I decided not to take it due to the low miles on my LE. If anyone is interested I will put you in touch with my sales rep and it is yours at MSRP on one condition. It has to be picked up from the dealer in Arizona. They will not ship it. Respond or PM me if interested.

LOL 😆 I had a similar thought. I'm a bit unhappy that the dealership that "generously" sold me my LE at MSRP is now asking a *20k* markup on the Molten Pearl. I was like...nah bruh.

I wish! In all honesty, aside from the fact that the car is 10k more than mine was brand new, what has me alarmed is interest rates. I recently read that the lowest rate you can get for a Supra through Toyota Financial is 8%. And that’s with perfect credit. I suspect the IS500 will be in the same ballpark. Curious what interest you guys are getting.

Yes, the interest rates are nuts right now. I got really lucky with mine. I got 2.64% fir 60 months from First Missouri Credit Union and that is with 790 credit score. They have recently raised their rates, but they are still good compared to everywhere else I looked. They are 3.24% I think, vit I cannot recall if that is for 48 or 60 months.
Give them a call. It is First Missouri Credit Union.

A local credit union is running a 2.49% special right now. They were at 4.5% a month or two ago. I'd rather have 8% on a car than on a home! Which is why I am making minimum payments on the car and putting cash away for a new home when we move.

Lexus was going as low as 5% for me when I did my pre-approval today. I laughed and said I'll go with my credit union unless they give me a few extra thousand somewhere. I'm either at 3.5% at 72 month or 2.5% at 60 month, which to me is where I'm likely going

I picked up my infrared/black from AZ. But I live in CA so I was able to fly out Friday night after work, pick it up Saturday and drive back by Saturday night.
