2023 IS 500 Sales

For anyone here, when the dealership tells you they will give you MSRP or whatever price you agree on, have them fill out and sign a buyers order. Have the sales person, general sales manager and you sign it and make sure you have a copy of it. Then you have it black on white. Do not just go with a given word and a hand shake.

White on Black at Lexus of Cherry Hill
They had a low markup last year, and ended up selling at MSRP. REACH OUT!!!!!
MOLTEN PEARL at Route 10 Lexus
They were on the VERY naughty list when selling last year.

Received a call from sales at Hennessy today about two incoming cars - Atomic Silver/Black and Molten Pearl/Black. I'm #1 on their list but not interested in either color combo. There was some small talk implying that they are now "considering" market conditions regarding pricing.
They couldn't tell me what they would potentially add but that they would evaluate the climate once the cars are received and make a decision at that point. Interesting because back when I gave them a deposit they assured me they were selling at MSRP.
I let them know that I passed up buying my color combo of Grecian Water/Black from a dealer in Miami due to market adjustment pricing and that I would pass on them as well if that was their stance.
They are keeping me on their list however.

Signed a new buyer’s order back in late September and they assured me it was going to be at MSRP. But it doesn’t seem to say it anywhere on the buyer’s order. When I asked the salesman about it, he said it’s because they “don’t know” the invoice price yet. This would be my first new car and also the first time ordering one straight from factory so I don’t really know if they’re trying to pull a fast one or is this normal order of operations.
Btw if anyone has leads on a Ultra White/Circuit Red at MSRP please let me know.

At that point the price is the price whatever the MSRP maybe.
Again, check with joinyaa.com, but I think that should be doable.

Yup they all hide the markup. Most have a "get internet price" or "get dealer price" button you have to click and they get your contact info. It's not a Lexus thing, it's an all car thing now.

When people post listings it might be helpful if they could confirm they were recently told it’s at MSRP, not 2 months ago or bc the website says so. As everyone knows dealers tend to have a change of heart and become greedier when the car arrives in the showroom.

It was a living spreadsheet, but it's pretty much out of date now. Some of the dealers got the info wiped, some of the data was only for Launch Editions, and the markups have changed. It's why I say just contact the dealer at this point
