That's weird they told me no markup at Longo and I was also like over 40 something on the wait-list. Even printed me out one of those reservation forms with my deposit that showed the out the door cost without a markup.
weird but not weird...haha. cause even the day they sold me the car, they asked me not to say how much I purchased the car; I told them that I'm part of this board and told them there was plenty of discussions about locations and even mentioned the spread sheet we had...haha. they have been always been good with selling cars w/ no mark ups until this one. I'm not sure if they marked up the ISF or GSF. RCF is more common now and days and sit for a while. if I remember correctly, there was a fuji edition in the show room and it think there was a mark up on that one too.
I guess I should feel good knowing I didn’t wait for Longo. I’m curious what they’ll do for 2023.
I was working with Anthony Nguyen at Longo. He seemed like a cool guy but now I’m seeing he’s not even on their website anymore. I was about to send my cc info to him for a deposit until I saw that life-changing post here about Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Santa Fe is another MSRP dealership y’all should look into. What a gem. They drove me an hour from the airport to the dealer and even pointed out Madrid from Wild Hogs and then where that criminal Alec Baldwin killed that poor girl. Experience of a lifetime.

I checked at longo a couple of weeks ago, and they said 20K or more on mark up with 72 people on the wait list with deposits down. F Longo Lexus. Ive been on the hunt out of state, but a lot of states have told me they will not sell to out of market customers.

I have independently verified that Longo has 76 people on the waitlist. The girl also told me there would be a markup on the IS500 only. She said the last one was $25,000 but couldn't confirm what this year's would be, so $20k could be right.

I remember back in the day like 2017 brand new GSF's Lexus dealers were offering serious rebates $$ off of msrp. What a steal & I miss those days.

Up until the 2022 IS500 they must have never had markups before. I also wonder if they have markups for the RC F and LC500. It didn't sound like it over the phone.
I just don't understand how dozens of people are okay lending the dealership $1000 for a few months. That $1000 would be better spent in a high yield savings account.

I am in Michigan & even till this day I have never seen a random GSF on local roads.
In Atlanta, everywhere you turn a Lexus will be in view. I have only seen the GS F once myself, which is insane. I know they’re out here!
