Just got back from my dealer for my oil change and they had a USB on white 500 in the showroom, it's probably gonna spend the winter there... Demand is in fact lower this year, us gearheads got ours last year, and with the ultra low supply, a bunch went elsewhere or simply postponed the new car due to the economic uncertainty.
I tried so hard to get one last year, but nobody was selling at MSRP except the dealership by me, but they only got one LE and the owner purchased that one.
I am glad it worked out that way because now I got mine on the way through that same dealership at MSRP and it is Molten Pearl 🥰.
Sometimes it pays to be patient.

I would think 2023s will exceed. I've notice the 2023s does not have number badge on them. I prefer the 2022s with the wood ash trims, 2023s got the leather steering wheel and regular trims from what I saw Otherwise its still good to owned either one.

That wooden trim is on LE only in 2022.
Normal 2022 and 2023 are the same except the dark Enki wheels on 2023

Numbered cars in 2022 were only the Launch Editions, which 500 were made. There was about 460 non Launch made in 2022, which the 2023's are identical except the wheels like previously said.

2 500's coming to my dealership soon. I'll snap one of them up. But based on dealer comments, very low demand. Plus, arriving in heart of winter - need winter tires right away if you don't have a beater for the winter. This is a true definition of an enthusiast's car. @ $Cdn. 77K for a small sedan: not many takers. They sell 20 RX's/NX's for every IS they sell. All the better for us - more exclusivity.

That thing is a beauty. Those stock enkei in black are my favorite wheels for the IS. Even over the BBS. Very sharp!

Dude, I don’t even fart or eat in my own car. I’ll hold it til I get where I’m going and can safely exit the vehicle.
So I’m crushed. I was running an errand and driving past my local dealer I saw a glimpse of a USB IS500. Keep in mind I’ve been on a list at 3 dealers since August/September. I immediately pulled in to check it out and then saw the large orange sticker “NOT FOR SALE” as it appears to been ordered via Toyota Team Member Services in Plano, TX.
What a tease. I think I could almost hear my ISF idling in the background— laughing.
