I’ve had both and the ‘23 steering is a bit heavier than the ‘22.

There’s definite disagreement on this point but I’m in the camp that thinks the IS500’s steering feel could be much better and is one of its few shortcomings. Still though it’s light years ahead of the BMW alternatives.

Ya so far the slightly louder exhaust is the only other real difference I’ve noticed. I had thought they upped the sport & sport+ settings, but I think I’m really just noticing the heavier steering and slightly louder exhaust.

Also some interior bits are different colors/finishes.

Exhaust or induction? Has anyone used a decibel meter to compare the years? I'm not sure I believe it yet.

Exhaust. Had two neighbors separately tell me that the ‘23 is louder than the ‘22 was. Seems louder in the car too but that could be from the speakers.

Very interesting! I wonder if this change can be retro fitted to the 2022s.

It's listed by paint and interior code rather than by actually typing the name out.
Off the top of my head the most I can say is 0223 is Caviar Exterior and 04W7 is Molten Pearl.
I believe 01L2 is iridium

I just ordered some Iridium touch-up paint, and it was of a "1L2" code, so I believe this checks out.

I took a video of my exhaust at a cold start and compared it to a youtube of a 2022 cold start. It really depends on the video quality I think, since I found one video that was nearly identical.

Maybe we can all will it into existence, it seems like it's Toyota's thing to make a bunch of different editions. Maybe a CF edition, or a black edition. But would also love to see a less common color over just adding CF or Blacking more out (which can be done aftermarket).
