Just curious, when is your car set to arrive. I've reached out to both of my local dealers for a Molten Pearl 500 and neither has been allocated a car. One of them had only been allocated a White on Red Premium that was already spoken for.

Those are actually the two I'm dealing with lol. JM I'm first in line for one that gets allocated (they just havent been allocated one) and Palm Beach is going to ask for a 20k addendum at a minimum. The inventory manager is amazing and I told her to let me know if she wanted to deal at MSRP, but I doubt they'll drop the addendum.

At the end of the day, if I manage to secure a Molten Pealr IS500 at MSRP I'll jump on it, but if it doesn't happen then I'm not worried at all. I'm happy with my current car and I can just play a YouTube video with a V8 soundtrack.

Interesting.... I wouldn't be surprised. I had to pester the sales lady. She told me they were only allocated a white on red. Every time I've delt with JM you can tell that they only care about current business and they truthfully don't give a rats *** about customers that want a car that will arrive in the future. Even when they were possible, they never wanted to do custom order cars.

im not too sure if it’s 100% true cause i haven’t called them since but nowadays sales people all they want to do is sell you what’s on their lot now. when i went in person to a dealer up north in FL, i came asking for an IS500 and heres the salesman trying to sell me a 350 like did you not hear when i said 500. then a second time he’s still trying to ask if i’m sure i don’t want a 350 today

I'm not saying he's a liar, but my understanding is that in Toyota/Lexus world, Japanese built cars/allocations don't show up in the dealer system until AFTER they are built. Unlike Canadian/US built vehicles that receive a temporary VIN about a month or two before being built. Does your VIN have a letter in the last 6 of it? If it doesn't then something is off for sure.
