I've never modded a car so I'm asking honestly. How accurate are a lot of these companies claims about increased performance? Is it really more for your own mental peace of mind? Would we be able to get the same gains with mods in a place like CA where 91 is the best fuel we can get easily?
I'm sure they're using a dyno to figure out the gains and unless there's a disclaimer it should be pretty accurate to what you would get.

RR Racing numbers seem pretty accurate. Some companies will do silly things like only do one before and after run, or do the after run days, weeks or months later.
