I picked up my 2023 Melton Pearl after waiting for 15 months + it was a long wait and I just got one key as well, someone was asking to post a picture, so this one is mine

WhooHoo!! Congrats! So was the wait worth it? ::knowing grin::
Yes the 350 key will work. Only the 2022 Launch Edition brought the card key. For 2023 no version of the IS brings the card key from the factory. Don't forget you have to order the key blank that needs to be cut. The part number is 69515-30350
no dealership will cut this key for the 21 is350, any ideas?

That's odd. They should be able to cut keys after providing proof of ownership of the vehicle. Have you tried multiple dealers? Or asking them what locksmith they use? Any locksmith with access to Toyota's keycode system via TIS should be able to do it. Assuming you have the mechanical key that came in the key fobs from the car, it should be fairly simple for someone to do.
Can people confirm they purchased a credit card key intended for another model and successfully had the dealer program and cut the key for their IS500?
I'm running into the issue where my local dealer is saying there is no available key based on my VIN and the shop foreman refuses to program based on this lack of compatibility.
My buddy with the 2022 atomic 500 (his car didn't come with the credit card key) got a credit card key (he used my vin number to purchase the same card key for 2022) and got it programed at my dealer. Not sure if they cut the blank key there, but they probably sent it out to get cut.

ive already put the numbers out there for both the keyfob and credit card key. We have two 500's, and i bought two and programmed them myself. Im headed to the dealer next week to get the keys cut.
I ordered part number 89904-48X70 ($153.51 from Bell Lexus at the time) and successfully programmed it to my '23 myself. After insisting to my local dealer that it was possible to do what I had already done, they finally agreed to order the physical key insert and cut it for me. The key insert I used is part number 69515-30350 and it was $50 plus tax including cutting.
Got my credit card key for my ‘23 IS500 today. About the size of three credit cards stacked on top of each other. Don’t know if it’s the new style or the old style but works fine for what I need.
Also big thanks to @wthrman2 for his help in getting the right volume & tuning ***** for our car. One of those things that once you notice the contrast with the Sport **** it’s hard to ignore. Pic has the old ***** resting on top of the newly installed & matching ones. Part number for darker ***** also shown in pic.

Congrats on getting the card key. Seems like a nice upgrade.
Personally, I would keep the ML tuning and volume *****. I think they feel nicer in hand, and they look identical to control ***** on Mark Levinson audio products. People who know, know. I like that. But I am also a nerd.

Can you comment on how you did the programming yourself?
