You'll need to get copy of Techstream in order to do it. Not sure if further discussion of that runs afoul of forum rules, but there is plenty of information out there on the topic. Once you have Techstream installed, you just follow a pretty straight-forward process to complete the programming. This video shows a different vehicle and key, but the process is essentially identical:

For what it’s worth, the dealer charged 1/2 labor to set up the credit card key. $40 or something like that.

Hey all, I managed to successfully program the smart card key but now I can’t lock/unlock my doors with any of my keys. I have to use the manual key or the Lexus app to perform this task. Any idea what’s going on?

I managed to correct this by reprogramming everything again, making sure all devices that could potentially interfere with the door lock frequency were far away from the vehicle, initializing the main body control unit, doing a Techstream dance, or potentially none of the things listed here since it just decide to work all of a sudden. Whatever, I’m good now.

I paid 193$ for both. I'm a Lexus employee and got that @ cost plus 10%. So yeah, you got a really good deal.

anyone interested lexus of ramsey is the place i ordered from free shipping and discount $140.38 for the keyless entry transmitter $33.16 for blank key and $1.96 for the cover.

Toyota should be able to program the fob, but only lexus can cut the key blank.
