due to Lexus’s inability to supply the EPB actuators, we had to move back to a dual caliper setup, regardless of rotor size.

If you’ve ordered a kit, you should expect to have it very soon.
Looks like the factory EPB actuator motor will have to be swapped over to the secondary parking brake caliper pictured.

Toyota and Lexus EPB actuators are interchangable. Even if they have different part numbers as long as they physically look the same is my experience so far.

why wouldn’t the motor that’s already installed not work?

there's no where on the GSF/RCF rear brembo caliper to attached the ebrake actuator to; nor anywhere on the stock knuckle. Phi fabricated an adapter to install the BBK and there's no room on that adapter for the stock ebrake actuator as well.

yes but if I understand correctly he’s saying I need to swap the ebrake caliper actuator on my BBMS kit with a Lexus actuator.

that may be the case unless the aftermarket ebrake caliper has the plug that can mate w/ the signal wire from the car.

Should be 100% plug and play.

Where is the electronic brake motor in this picture?
To me there is no actuator pictured, just the bare Mechanical parking brake caliper
You can see the mounting ears for the OEM Toyota EBP Actuator and the black rubber o-ring to keep dirt out.

One minor issue, the rear wheels are contacting the EPB, but just barely. This is why I was the guinea pig, was to figure out the small things like this. New brackets are being overnighted currently, those of you that have ordered already, new brackets are on the way to you as well.

but everything is installed and bled, couldn’t be happier!

Dope! Clean! I wonder if he sells just the single calipers and bracket. I already got the rears but never installed

the EPB bracket is 1 piece with the main 4 pot caliper bracket.

It's a tesla model s rear e-brake caliper that uses an adapter to use the OEM epb motor (direct bolt on). the rotor looks to be 380mm x 28mm rotor ring with a front brake rotor top hat. the reason why that rear brake caliper work is because it's radial mounted too.
@LA20671 You can't just buy the rear adapter and caliper and bolt it on. you need that entire kit.
edit: FYI, if anyone ever want to test if the brakes work while it's up in the air; make sure you shove the lug nuts/studs into the hub/rotor first. so the wheel hub is connecting to the brake rotors.
