^Regarding Pittsy's comment about test fit on Enkeis: I did a really quick test fitment this morning with the fronts. The spokes clear but barely. I think I have a slight rub on the barrel, but it could very well be from not being torqued down. I will do a full report for the front and rear tonight (hopefully, tomorrow latest) with the Enkeis and make any recommendations or report any issues.
PS. yes i am aware it's the wrong rotor, I just grabbed the first for the test fit, it's all coming off once test fit is complete.
Looks great! What color is that? I can’t tell if it’s red or dark orange.

This is the orange colour that was offered. It's definitely has more red than the yellow orange on the RCF. Keep in mind this is coming through a camera phone and then uploaded. I can confirm they are darker for sure.
(Again, i'm aware of the wrong rotor for the test fit)
Hate to be that guy but do you know your rear tires are on backwards? (I was zooming in on the tire sizes)
Edit: just saw you noticed in your other thread

yeah lol I’m already back at the tire store, they’re fixing it right now. Noticed when I took those photos and zoomed in
Completed install for the front and rears after doing an initial test fit for the front and rears. Confirmed that both front and rear clear the calipers. The only issue being that the fronts come in contact with the wheel weights but maybe 2mm. For now, using a spacer but I’d like to adjust the weights just a bit for them to clear.
the only outstanding issue is the rears come in contact with the bottom bolt head for the 4 piston caliper. This is already a known issue, and for now I’ll grind down the edge so it clears but will get the replacements in when they arrive here.
I was surprised the amount of seizing already on the OEM rotors, took quite a few whacks with a mallet to free them. Loaned up with a healthy dose of anti seize before winter.
I have to say the pads are absolutely gargantuan compared to the stock. Can’t wait to give them a shot tomorrow! I just need to disconnect the old lines/calipers, attach the new ones and bleed. Very happy with how the kit has turned out. I did notice they can chip quite easily is the only downside I’ve noticed
The front and rear have 380mm rotors and I doubt spare would fit.
If I got a flat, Im not changing a tire on a $70,000 car on the side of the road. I’ll have Lexus roadside or AAA come tow to the car to the dealer for free. Even if I didn’t have the BBK, id still do that.

Just want to give you a heads up on that. My girlfriend had a flat one morning when she woke up and she called Toyota roadside who just subs the work out to AAA, who further subs it out to a local vendor, and after calling 3 times, and waiting 3-4 hours nobody showed up to put on the flat tire. Guess who ended up having to show up to provide assistance…

yeah I know their program pretty well. I make them tow around the LS Tacoma pretty frequently.
The brakes were still not quite feeling right, and I noticed a bit of seepage from the bleed screws. I had concerns that I over torqued and damaged the screws or caliper, so I ordered a 1/4 inch torque wrench to do a proper torque job. This is my first BBK upgrade but thankfully only had a couple minor issues.
I’m out for a cruise and the pedal feel is feeling sooooo much better and feels like it did with the OEM brakes, after doing the fix. Ty3 rotors are very noticeable if you’ve got sensitive hearing.

Did you buy a new bleeder screw to stop the seepage? What did you to do fix the fluid seepage from the bleeder?
I just needed to torque properly to 10ft/lbs / 120in/lbs. at least I have a 1/4 torque wrench for these kinds of things now lol.
i plan to do another bleed this weekend just to make sure all air has worked its way out but I feel like the car is where it should be now. The pads and rotors still need more bedding too.
edit: to be more specific, it seemed like I was under torquing the inside bleeders. You’d really have to reef on the thing to over torque using a tiny 11mm wrench.
