Yeah photos don't typically do it justice, but that one does, pretty much.

Also I didn't edit my photos whatsoever, so pardon the lack of pop.

FYI for any molten pearl owners my salesman confirmed with me the last 2 digits of the vin are the production numbers!!! So mine is number 47-150

^^ Not to sound dumb but how can the last 2 digits be the production number when you have some using 3 digits? (100-150)?? Unless I am missing something

Great point! I assume then it would be the last 3 but then again I’ve heard otherwise from other people, I do trust what my salesperson told me.

That literally doesn't make sense. Do we know whether the 150 are for the US, or worldwide? I could imagine a world where the US gets 100, and there are numbers ranging from "00" to "99" to cover the 100...

Though it's possible he misspoke.

^^ and that the dealers are the last place to get any credible and useful information (lol) - They mean well but to them, it's a job and don't care much unlike us, enthusiasts

I remember when I was test-driving my 2016 IS 300 AWD, I used the paddles without manual mode, and the shifts were, in my perception, laggy. Rather than telling me to use manual mode, my salesman told me I'd need to step up to an F to get snappy shifts.

Yeah, they are bad sometimes. And in this case, it was not in my best interest. The F was not an option for me - shifting into manual mode was.

Whoever owes a Molten Pearl IS500 in Seattle (Lexus of Seattle), I just saw it on the delivery truck full of new Lexus this morning on my way to work.
