Hello here is my 2023 is500 molten pearl, took delivery 12/31 paid just 1k over Msrp. My previous car was a 2015 is350 f sport supercharged. I still have a 2004 is300 5speed as my daily. Plans for the is500 will be ppf on the entire front end and a ceramic coat and then a rr racing bazooka exhaust.
The drama is over. Paid last night, picked up this afternoon. Took 45 minutes to drive 12 miles so I didn't get to open her up, but I did have a stupid smile on my face even still.
Tim - Congrats on the MP!!! The irony is I am an ultra conservative person and the reason I always go whit eon my car but had this car been available in Canada, I would have gotten one!! It looks amazing and it is great to finally see real owner's pics, especially the showroom pic, my favorite of them all!
This color is like a woman playing with my emotions. When they first announced it I loved the press images. Then the pictures of the car at port came out and I found it gross. But now more and more pictures are coming out and I absolutely love it. I've been offered three of these, the most recent one being 3 days ago, all at MSRP and now I'm back to strongly considering the latest one
Can you show us the carpet mats and the key gloves that come with it?
Do it!! You will not regret getting this bad boy! I agree that this color is a bit odd in photos but I have seen RC, NX in this color in person and it always look stunning and far better than in photos

How can your car be worth 14 000$ less after 1 year when used cars are selling above MSRP. I am sure if you list your IS 350, somewhat will want it and then you can do a convenience trade at the dealer to save some taxes (at least that applies here in Canada). I am not saying you will not lose any money but I would say that ~5K would be more reasonable IMO
I think the MP is a very unique car and I regret not getting a LE when they were available in Canada - I always love the exclusivity and that is why I would have gotten a MP if Lexus Canada would have brought some of them this side of the border Just know that once they are gone, you may always regret not doing it, especially if you keep this car long term

How can your car be worth 14 000$ less after 1 year when used cars are selling above MSRP. I agree that it seems odd but theres a couple of factors. While my car is a DHP car, which DHP doesnt exist anymore as we know it, at the time of running trade in values, dealer's don't give a rats *** and they'll essentially price it as a regular 350. Of course they'll turn around and sell it advertising the DHP. The big thing is the beginning of the market collapse. With Carvana on the brink of Chapter 11, Carmax and Carvana have been liquidating cars in record numbers and as such the values of used cars are beginning to drop. And yes, at least in Florida I can trade in my car at the time of sale and save only pay taxes on the difference. My biggest thing is that I am saving to buy a house. If I had a house already, I'd do it without a doubt. But it's also not like I'm driving a beater lol. When I think with my heart I want the 500. When I think with my brain, I'm fine with the 350 lmao. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

sherif was a fantastic to work with, he even pulled one over on me, when I went to do the paperwork for the car on Saturday he said it would be Monday but he had got the car there early and didn’t tell me.

Here is an MP with carpet mats and key glove. Took delivery 12/31 at MSRP.
Only dealer option I took was Appearance Protection (Permaplate sealant and warranty) at $639 till I can get PPF.
