Love the orange. Not my color personally but I love it on other people's cars. If I buy this car it's Infrared w/ White interior. USB w/ red would be a close 2nd. Grecian water also looks great. This car would also look good in a teal or purple color.
I totally respect that. I was dead set on Infrared on black originally, but later tried to buy two Atomic Silvers over red. Was tempted by a couple of Iridiums. But for some reason, when I was notified about a Molten Pearl allocation, I said yes.
Spotted this Molten beauty this morning on the way to work.
Started to take pic and leave. Being the gregarious type that I am. I said no, I have to meet this connoisseur of fine automotive machinery. Parked my 500 next to it and went on inside. Asked for the person with incredible taste in automobiles and I met the owner. She is a great lady! We talked 500 stuff and took the next picture of the cajun cousins!
Truly a beautiful color that is most appreciated in person. So if I can find a couple more in Louisiana, we can have a cars and coffee morning! GIDDY UP!
As the color relates to the 23 IS500, it is a limited edition offering on 150 units. for this model year. The color has been available from time to time on other models.
I’m curious, why isn’t Molten an option on the Lexus website?
On Sunday morning it was available on the Lexus website as an option package, but when I checked again yesterday, it was not available. I think that may indicate they're all gone/sold. I bought mine on Sunday Feb. 26; may have been one of the last ones!
MAN! I was about to post a couple pic of the MP 500 i saw today at Cars and Coffee in San Clemente.. I had my White one there and I saw the MP and snapped a couple of pics...
