Hello Lexus Fans!
I have a 2022 USB on black IS500 Premium acquired 4/2022 in Mobile, AL. I love it more than you should actually love anything that's not family. 4000+miles so far. Here are some things maybe you'll find helpful. These may be repeats but i know when I was waiting for mine, I would have loved to see this and repeat posts didn't matter.

- I purchased the Autobutler program from the dealer when I got it. It wasnt thrown in -I really paid for it. Lots of people hate it, say its a bad deal, hard on paint etc. My experience had been very good. No issues after 2 visits.
- I really wanted a credit card key, It did NOT come with the premium version and the Lexus folks will tell you it wont work. Posts here say it will. I ordered these (see below) online at lexus.com - had it shipped to the dealership and paid them $183 to program it. Works flawlessly. I had to agree that it was non returnable before they would even allow the order (they called me) because they didn't believe me when I told them it would work. The gamble paid off. I have not gotten the blank cut for my car yet, and I may not even bother but you have to have it for the card key to look right since it slides into a slot on the end.
- 8990448X70 1 $ 154.76 TRANSMITTER SUB-ASSEMBLY, ELECTRICAL KEY(CARD KEY)
- 6951530350 1 $ 36.66 KEY, BLANK(CARD KEY)
- When I took the car in for autobutler at 4250 miles, they offered a free oil change, aligned the front end under warranty (it seems to be eating the outside of the front tires), programmed my key and gave me a an NX loaner for the day. They told me to come back at 10k for a second oil change. All i paid was the key programming. Everyone there (customers and Employees) drooled over my car. Pretty fun.
- The NX loaner was nicer on the inside, but drove like a jeep liberty compared to the IS500... Ugh.
- If you haven't found the "zoomy" button way at the bottom of the gas pedal travel (floor it, then get mad and push harder) you haven't discovered the heart of the car yet. Embarrassing, but I didn't find that for several weeks after I got it. ZOOM. It will make you grin.
- I made a mix cd using an old pc of 50 year old guy music - hate on the cd player f you want but it plays ACDC and Metallica just fine on repeat.

Did you also sense your front end wasn't aligned? Did the steering wheel pull a certain way?

Not at all. Drives and hold the road just fine. I'm on stock tires and I read somewhere that these likely wont last past 15-20k miles. Still, I'm not particularly aggressive and 4k seems pretty quick for the outside edges on both sides to look worn. The dealer accommodated me and checked it but basically said "you're driving a rocket, they are going to wear"

Edit: Here's a thread about that with part numbers.

Poor tire wear on the front is a known problem for the IS. You could get different bushings to help with the issue.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you got pretty lucky getting it so fast … my credit card key has been on order for two months now and dealer today said there are only 3 credit card keys for 2023s in inventory nationwide with a pretty massive back order.

This thread reminded me to check on my order for the '22 cc key I placed in early December as I was just assuming it was backordered and was going to be awhile. Turns out the dealer I ordered from just cancelled the order without any communication. I guess don't order stuff from Prestige Lexus of Ramsey lol
Just as well as I have a '23 and was going to cancel the order just in case the '23s only work with the new part number. I guess I'll just wait until it's available someday.

Its an upsell item- basically a wax ("paint protection") and detail at the dealership every six months for 5? years.
