No, use “remflex 8019” for the front connection to cats and “remflex 8070” for the midpipe by the x pipe.

Well, at the end of Christine he rams the car with a Caterpillar and drops the bucket on it … maybe hard to explain to the insurance company, but if it’s enough of a problem…

It's not quite that bad...yet!
Do you know it the stock exahust size coming off the cat is 2.75" or 2.5". The strings I've read indicate both sizes.

I hadn’t used the remflex gaskets you recommend when the shop was installing the exhaust

I got a CEL just 2 days after install and had it taken to a mechanic I know
I explained how I just got an exhaust installed so he had an idea of what could be wrong
Ended up being the rear 02 sensor (behind the cats)

he asked me if I felt any difference driving or in power and I still haven’t
he turned it off and said not to worry about it

should I get the gaskets installed? I fear that this might be exhaust leak

Speech over, help needed, thank you

Love the TED Talk lol. I dont have a remark but I have an Invidia axle back from a RC chassis. I reused my old OEM gaskets. Only had about 3k miles on them at that time. I never had a CEL or any loss in power. I wouldn't recommended using the gaskets supplied as the sizes might be off by a little. What could've happened was the exhaust wasn't seated properly on the gasket. For me, my passenger side was slightly off and was tapping the subframe. When we loosened the bolts and realigned it, the exhaust was a bit more tamer and I felt a slight bump in torque.

Most likely your gaskets are leaking which is causing the O2 code (not an actual bad O2 sensor). Use the Remflex gaskets, don't know how many times I have to tell people.....I have 8,000 miles on my car with the exhaust and zero issues. I also used to have a GSF which is where I discovered the Remflex gaskets (Remflex worked flawlessly on the GSF for tens of thousands of miles).

I have about 4000 miles on my 2019 RC F since I got the Lexus dealer to use the Remflex gaskets along with the high temp silicone gasket sealer. No longer have the check engine light (CEL) issue. But next year I'm going to do something about the noise level. While it sounds good when you're on it, I don't drive like that much any more. Mainly mergign with traffic on the freeway. Not very enjoyable with the loud noise around town or on the turn pike. Probably going to look at some 3" mufflers and put back in where the resonators were eliminated when the Invidia system was added.
And I agree with Civib2 in that I'd try to find out why the CEL is coming on. Clearly looks like there's still and exhaust leak. As far as I know there are 2 O2 sensors on each side...one before and one after the cats? Anyone know if that's correct?

Just did this install this weekend and I am extremely happy with the results. I used all the parts you recommended and everything went together super easy. The car sounds so much better and doesn't drone at all. Thanks for the writeup!
