hello to everyone from Greece..new owner with a lexus is250c with small frond bumper crash...now it is ok..i went befour some days to make a service because the car is sitting about 3 years.it work ok (i thing) ...the big problem from me is the roof, when i press the button the warning message say (check retractable hardtop system) with one red tringle flashing . i read every day anything about the car but i cant understand the problem.does anyone know somethnig for my problem..thanks a lot..i am afraid that next service station is lexus with a lot of money for the solution..thanks again.
thanks a lot for your anwer. today i speak with the central office of LEXUS in Athens they told me that Greece it has only 3 convertible cars and it is very dificult to fix the roof . i will go my car next week to take a status reeport from OBD but i thing it is more complicated. i write more informatione next week but the man at lexus service told me that the coast it is like to buy a small car....if anyone has a idea please tell me..thanks a lot..
update...today i visit LEXUS GREECE ..the folt code of the car is 6436153020 and the cost brand new is 2300euro i am watching if a can find as used....any idea..??? thanks..
Honestly they don't tell me the fold code and i dont have an obd reader to take it..i order one used hinge from usa 900 dollars and i wait in 2weeks.i hope that is the damage and nothing more..when i put it in the car i inform you..thanks ...

That is a lot of money. I hope it doesn’t turn into endless money pit.
Be sure you read the instructions on opening the top. If, for example, the package guard isn't pulled all the way back and inserted into the floor of the trunk properly, the top won't come open. Note that the windows need to be down all the way.
