Dealer called and said an IS-C will be ready for a test drive on Monday. I can't wait.

Finally drove a 350 yesterday. Blue with black interior. My only gripe is the vibrating rear view mirror. It can use a rubber support of some sort. It drives quite well. Adequate power, braking and steering response. Nice amenities A/C seats, quick button access for the rear passengers (although this car didn't have NAV or rear view camera and I didn't see a bluetooth option). I was very surprised at the space in the cabin. I owned an SC and the ISC has much more room inside. I'm 6' (6'2" on a good hair day) and, unlike the SC, I didn't have to slide the seat all the way back. The rear seats are slightly larger than the SC. A small person can actually fit comfortably in the rear seat The paddle shifters are superfluous. Just like the steering wheel shifters on my previous '98 GS. The top is smooth and is pretty quick. Nice car overall. My 5 year old son LOVED IT when I picked him up form school in it.

I don't know how hard it is to attach a damn mirror properly. This vibrating things has gone on since 2006 and they still haven't bothered to fix it. Rediculous.

IS350C is gonna be hard sell IMO unless you have to have convertible top that bad. You can find IS-F used for 50k, sometimes less

Owning an SC300 and a GS400 along with a SLK Benz..I would be very interested in a IS-c myself. Seems like a great move by Lexus...the SC430 never did anything for me.

Is the ISc going to be offered with a manual transmission?

Yes, but it will be offered only on the 250 model.

Heh, if you don't like things vibrating, the IS-C is definitely not for you. I noticed that when driving with the top down, the entire front cowl and windshield vibrates.

For everyone who has complained how the IS is such a squeak mobile in sedan form, you'll probably love the Flexible Flyer dynamics of a convertible. Unless they have changed things this may prove to be a real rattler. Will be interesting to see how real world comments will play out.
