Thanks
Nope. I'm a Toyota/Lexus person, so that car wasn't even on my radar. Same with BMW 3-series: nice car, but just not my thing.
I wanted lexus build quality and interior/features/etc with open top feel from the mustang. So, that narrowed down the list tremdously.

To all wondering: obviously there's a bunch of numbers when buying any car, add to that when you trade a car in, and add even further when you trade a second car in as well.
So, the best way to answer the question: I got what I felt was fair value based on kbb, nada, and edmunds for my particular car in my particular area.

at first i wasnt a fan of the C when i first saw it at a new car show (top was down). Then one of our guys here got the first one on the island, then i got really good look top up/top down, and i came to the conclusion 'its not so bad'
modding tips: the fogs are H11 and the mirror visor bulb is a festoon type (unknown what size). *learned that after we ordered the 9006/194's*

I'm actually a Honda / Acura fan, but went for the IS350 because it was an obvious winner in every way for me. However, I think Lexus screwed the pooch on the styling of the ISC. I hate it. I hoped that I would like it better in person, but I saw it this morning, and think I hated it even more. I don't care for the G37 Sedan or Coupe, but I think they really nailed it with the G37C
Thanks. I actually had your post about that a little while ago. I'm not planning on doing the mirrors this time around. But, do you know if the overhead LEDs (front only since it's a vert) are the same as the sedan? I am going to change those out.....once I decide to figure out how to get them out. The overhead switches are different on 06-08 vs 09+

yea their the same 194, i think its only 1pair needed for yours (did one already but i forget ), all you need to do is give the whole fixture thingy a good yank, firm but not aggressive pull. I even told the owner to look away when i did it

Im with you, I hated the car at first. Every photo made the car looks so awkward and ugly. After seeing it on the road and in front of me, i changed my mind. The car is pretty nice looking, it looks best when the top is down though. The car has potential Congrats on the new whip!

Congrats Again Mike!!!
I spent a few days with an IS350 C over the last week.
"Modding in Progress".... LoL
Its a pretty Amazing ride with the Top down.!!
I installed a "Joe Z Intake" and we prototyped the "PTS - Full True Dual Exhaust System" (Race Version) on it.
Lots of new underbody braces under there.
- More details will be released soon on the Full Exhaust!!!
Here's a sneak peak for now..

Just to comment on a number of things. I am in the 3rd month of my IS350C. I absolutely love the car. I leased the sedan in Nov of 05, which was obviously its first days on the street. People used to talk to me about it, but never had that wow factor. Now I get people saying, damn, staring at the car or just saying wow.
As I mentioned a few months back it was either this or the A5, I was torn. Wasnt sure about the C, and the cost. I have gone from Camry to a Supra TT to an Sc430 (sold the Supra after 3 1/2 years and got what I paid for it, allowed me to drive the SC) to an IS300 to an IS350 and now the IS350C. I guess my point is the same as Mikes, my family and I are very loyal to Lexus and they treat us right. I actually got $700 off MSRP.
I love this car, I have yet to see another on the road. However, in fairness I have only seen one G37 Vert. I like the coupe in that car, but the vert does nothing for me. I still feel as if the ISC is much sportier. My only dislike about the car is at certain angles it can seem a little long. Other than that, I wouldnt trade it for anything...well a Ferrari maybe, but cmon.
Heres a reminder....
