Default Brake Upgrade

My wheels needed a little something extra, so I'm upgrading my front brakes to the 350 calipers. It took me a while to decide on a final color, I wanted something amazing that would pop with the blue and black. My final decision was.... Candy Lollipop Berry! I got them powder coated here in Houston, PowderCoat It Now.

Of course I got them done at my regular shop Deviate AutoSports. They always do a great job on my car and I'm still hoping to run into Slim Thug since that is also his shop and our cars are always parked together! LOL

Here is the list of parts I needed to get them put on:
-Calipers
-Rotors (I went with slotted and drilled)
-Brake Pads (I got ceramic)
-Brake Shims
-Dust Covers
-Silver Lexus Decals (From MotoGFX)

Calipers Powder Coated: Candy Lollipop Berry:

OK that color choice isn't random or anything.. haha looks sexy, really pops with our USB.

questions for you, hope I am bothering you

1.do you know if they had to replace all seals and pistons or simply tape off and paint?

I would love to find a place where I can simply drop them off and let them take care of the rest.

2. How did you go about the rear rotors, did you order a drilled and slotted set for them as well?
3. Where did you order the rotors from

thanks homie

LOL Thank you, I was going for sexy! That color took a month to pick out, I'm so indecisive! And you aren't bothering me at all!

Let Me Answer Your Questions:
1. I forgot to put I had to order new seals. They took the pistons out when they powder coated them and rebuilt them with the new seals. I'm glad I found somewhere I trust that does good work, makes my life so easier!
2. I ordered a set of rotors for the back too. Slotted and drilled, so they match. They're just a little smaller than the front rotors. I do plan on changing the back brakes out later at some point.
3. I ordered them on ebay! Seller: BrakeLabs

I think that covers it!

did you order all 4 at once and instruct them that the rears were actually 250 rotors or buy through seperate listings?

thanks for taking the time to help me bleezy

EDIT: ohh.. and where you ordered the seals/part # would be great!

No problem at all!

I ordered the back and front rotors separately. I didn't want there to be any mix up.

The seals I got from Parts Geek online. They were called: Lexus IS350 Caliper Repair Kit (Part #143.44055

LOL No you've never mentioned that!

Yah, I just dropped it all off at my shop (Deviate Autosports) and they did the rest. Even had them keep it overnight so my detail guy could give it a good scrubbing for Wekfest in the morning. He does it at the shop so he can use the lifts and take my wheels off to clean and seal and clean the entire underneath of my car.

Default Modified Sedan CF Front Splitter For an ISC

Since there are like barely any parts to dress up the exterior of my ISC, I had to come up with a game plan. Especially since there is no way I'm giving VIP Auto Salon any money for that CF Lexon Lip with their track record this year!

So...... My thought process is, if I buy something cheap enough I won't mind cutting it up and trying to make it fit my bumper. I went on ebay and ordered some front carbon fiber splitters for a sedan. The side of my bumper is the problem, it curves down instead of going straight across like the sedan bumper.

I headed over to another local Club Lexus member's house for some assistance. It was a long day of figuring out what the hell we were gonna do. After a few attempts that went horribly wrong, we started to figure out a game plan. The end result, was pretty successful. Not 100% perfect, but damn near. So far, no one has even noticed they aren't for my car specifically.

Putting In Work:

I've been waiting for more pics of your splitter set up when I saw it in the pic of your car right now thread, looks awesome and it flows well! You can't even tell it was a custom job. What year IS are those splitters made for, and you still got the eBay link to them by any chance.
