Has anyone had experience with cold air intake mods on the IS convertibles? I am shopping the AEM web site. The AEM 41-1402P Electronically Tuned Intake has an instruction pdf online where the photos look exactly like my car, but the application states 2006-2011 IS350. The one they offer for 2014-2017 IS350 is 21-759C, but the instructions look like the non-convertible IS. Since the intake has a molded heat shield and specific bend on the intake tube, it looks like the 41-1402P will fit my car(2014 IS350C). My other concern is that will the "tuning" match my 2014 if the kit is built for 2006-2011? Have the "Convertible" engines changed from 2006 to 2014? I chatted with AEM support but with no help, they basically said the 21-759C will fit all models of IS 2014-2017! I'm attaching both manuals for reference. Thanks for any input!

So I don't have experience with that specific intake. I can tell you that the chassis and engine in your car is based on the 2is.

If you're thinking that intake is the route you want to go, get the 06-12.
