Default Painted Calipers

No big deal here. Just felt like the side of the car needed a little splash of color. Of all the options and paint colors out there (including just cleaning them as there was no rust at all) I still needed up with the F-sport looking blue color. I’ve already changed the grill to it so why not the calipers? I went with the G2 paint kit and followed all the directions and suggestions. Worked out well. I’m pretty happy with the blue caliper and silver lettering. Ties in well with the Tungsten Pearl factory paint and the 18” Liquid Graphite wheels. Thoughts?

Frog tape?

This looks all too familiar....

The F-Sport had the same work done recently using the same product and I see I'm not the only one with brush strokes on the machined side of the caliper. Not that anyone looks that close. It adds some contrast and looks better than the bland finish the OEM calipers succumb too.

OP where did you find curved stickers? I gave up and just ordered these.

Yes, it is frog tape! As for the brush strokes, they actually leveled out on there own..I just rushed taking the pic. I found the curved decals on eBay but the listing has been removed since then...hope I don’t have any issues! lol. I guess several different colors would have worked and looked fine but the blue just seemed to go with the silver car better. Your blue on blue looks really good!

Looks great! In a couple of years, when I need to refresh the look of the car I'll do this too and possibly change lights.

Looks great! I love that blue. I am at a loss at what color to paint my calipers. Car is Matador Red, I was thinking either fire engine red or gold similar to Brembo ones.

Go with the red, Then everyone will think you've got Brembos. Kind of reminds me of when I had my first car back in 1957 in So. Calif. We used to paint the rims of our wheels red on the strip outside the moon hubcaps. Didn't matter what your car color was, you did red!
