I wanted to install them under the front seats for better top-down sound, but there is not enough clearance when the seats auto fold.

There is also a factory provision for an 8" sub behind the rear seats, used if you have the ML System. I originally installed a free air pioneer sub and amp in this factory spot but it rattled too much so I went the other route.
I LOVE YOUR SET UP!

Could you help a noob out? I want to recreate your setup in my 2013 250C, but I've never installed a subwoofer before. Looking at some Youtube videos to try to learn.

You mentioned an 8' powered slimline subwoofer. I've narrowed it down to two. The 10' has better reviews, but also I'm trying to match your build because I know nothing and have never done this so I'm also looking at an 8' XD

Also, would spending $20 on a Best Buy installation be worth it if you know? Never done this before :O If you have any tips?

Thanks for the kind words!

I will tell you the 8 inch JUST fits. I would cross reference the dims on the 8 & 10. If they are the same then go for the 10. If the 10 is any bigger it wont fit.

You will definitely need some sort of install kit. I used a kicker install kit, install is pretty simple

Default Patton's Build

Very unique color for the calipers! What brand spray did you use?

Steve-
Hello Steve-
The 10" slimline powered subwoofers were actually a bit too tall for the location beneath the retractable top protector in the trunk. It touched the roof panels when the top was down so it was a no go.PM me for specifics on my slimline sub set up if you like. I do not want to highjack Patton's build thread.

It is called OMAC. I got it off Amazon. $35 and 5 hours of labor.

No worries. I didn't think the 10 would fit. The 8 JUST fit.

Did you install a free air sub in the provision behind the backseat or did you do a slimline enclosure in the trunk?

It fit in the truck where the spare tire sits. But you do loose the ability to carry the spare.
