Definitely interested to see what you did there. The $700 was for parts and labor? That's pretty good!
Exhaust work posted and link to video has been posted as well.

thanks ! I wasn’t sure about the blue fog lights going with the slightly blue HID lights. I was trying to match the fog lights but after 3 different attempts with different brands, I gave up and eventually it grew on me a lot more.

Default Cabin Pulls and down shifts with the top down

Took a video with my phone on my way home. Later on I will eventually start using my GoPro and do some actual shots from the cabin and outside the cabin.

Default Next Mod - F Sport Lowering Springs

Took me about 4 hours to do the front left, 30 mins for the front right.

the next day did the rears, only took me a few hours max this time.

I did notice a nice drop after install, but I wish I would have gotten some BC coil-overs mainly because of the ease of install.

I did have some issues with the left upper control arm bolt, kept spinning, I eventually tightened it as much as I could but still is about a mm or 2 looses. Any tips on this? I tried everything from pulling down on the UCA, to lowering the axle down to a brick to add weight. Was searching all over the forms and YouTube but nothing seemed to work.

Default Need a little space - H&R Spacers 15mm front 25mm rear

15mm/25mm

Old studs off, extended studs on

R.S.O.O - Rear Spacers Officially On

Time for the fronts

She ent the thickest but she makes me happy

Installing these spaces are easy. I went ahead and bought a stud installer tool from the auto parts store. It was kind of expensive ($40) for a small little tool. I used my impact tool to zap all the studs in but a wrench can also work pretty well and surprisingly quicker than an impact.

When installing spacers, please remove as much rust as you can from your brake rotors, wheel bearing, wheel hub, and any other part you seem fit and spray down with brake cleaner and wipe. You don’t really need to do that but it’s nice “preventative maintenance”. The bare minimum is to clean the rust from the inner wheel and brake rotor since that is where the spacer will be in contact of so nothing gets stuck together.

I made the dumbass mistake of using my stud installer tool backwards on my last wheel and the impact tool ripped it up and destroyed it along with the lug nut getting stuck. I had to go buy the tool again along with another lug, as if I havnt been having issues with the car already. More to follow on that.

I’ll post some before and after photos later on. Stay tuned

Default Before and After - F Sport Lowering Springs and H&R Spacers

Before Shots
Before (FRONT)

After (FRONT)

Before (REAR)

After (REAR)

She looking kinda FLUUSHHHHH

Spacers make her look nice and thick I like it

Nothing but smiles when I look at her.

let me know how she’s looking. I know it's kind of hard to tell the difference due to maybe lighting but the color of the car makes it a lot harder to tell in photos but in person, really noticeable drop once suspension settled in after a few weeks.

Time for an alignment....eventually.

Wow, that really sits nice an low! Any plans on caliper paint or covers? I've been back and forth on this mod but with your wheels you really see the calipers.

Yes, I plan on painting my calipers F-Sport Blue and add on the F-Sport decal. Ideally, I would want them powder coated but a little out of my budget right now. Won't be anytime soon tho.

Default F-Sport Wheel Lugs Installed

Decided that I needed to replace all my stock lugs as "preventative maintenance" due to being a little rusty and damaged/stripped/threaded. Might as well since I have already replaced the OEM lugs with extended lugs. I went with OEM and got the f-sport ones.

I was skeptical at first since it is a different bolt style than what I am used to, more skinner than the original, and was a little confused and what lug goes where but after installation, checking the wheels, and comparing to old lugs (the washers/end) I felt more confident about them. I could have just gotten the original lugs for like $2 a pop (<$40 total w/o wheel locks) but I wanted to be a little extravagant and baller.

Default RR Racing Carbon Intake - Ready for install

Anyone know if these can be ran without a tune?

I heard some people get the CEL code if they don’t have the tune.

As stated earlier in the thread, I decided to go with the RR Racing Intake pipe instead of the F-Sport pipe mainly for cosmetic reasons.

Once I confirm I can install this with out a tune I will go ahead and install and update you guys later. I think it’s the breather filter that sets off the code from what I read. I will probably go ahead and install the pipe with the stock breather and see what happens.
