2010 IS250C was just totaled- need good value estimate
Hi Folks. New here so apologies for any misstep on my part. My husband was run off the highway today by a distracted driver who drifted into his lane and is car is totaled. The other driver just drove off, and there are no witnesses! No one stopped (then again it was the highway). Fortunately my husband is ok but the car is not. Will need to be discussing the value with USAA when they total it. and would appreciate any help. Its a 2010 silver IS250C with off white leather interior. 120K miles. New tires (continental). One owner, garaged, no previous accidents. Have looked on the standard sites but prices seem to range by a few thousand $. He loved that car and is distraught. All help appreciated!

What a terrible shame for such a great car. Fortunately your husband came off OK.
At that age and mileage it will not be worth great amounts and if it were me, I would start looking for a replacement of the same model.- here in the UK it's quite a rare car, less than 300 registered.

Unfortunately, the insurance company will go with the lowest on the range since it is being totaled out- Always sad to hear when we lose another ISC, not many around, but grateful your husband is ok!

Forgot to update everyone on the value of the totaled car: they initially lowballed, but we sent more appropriate comps and corrected the features the neglected to list on our car, and we ultimately got 20% more than they originally offered. We also had an inexpensive rider on our insurance that I purchased when we bought a tesla in 2018. The rider pays 20% over the value of the car, so the $15,800 they finally calculated for the car value became around $19K (with tax and title thrown back in).
