Default New tires/coilovers

Been looking at tires and trying to decide on size. I bought a 2013 ISF back in February and tires in the front are 225/40 and 275/35 rear. They were already about half gone so it's time to replace them. I was hoping to go with 245/40 275/35 or maybe bigger in the rear? Been looking at Bridgestone Potenzas. I'm running on stock suspension. Looking to pickup some coilovers during summer. Budget of $2500 for coilovers. I've been looking at HKS or BC. Any advice/suggestions is most appreciated.

I'm on BC Racing DS on Swift 18/14 if you ever wanted a ride to see how they feel if you're down to drive down to south SD

How are they vs the stock suspension? I daily drive my car. I might do a couple track days during summer. I live up in the hills so I get my daily dose of S turns lol. Also do someone canyon drives. I'm up in northern California so SD is a bit of a haul.

Those coilovers look pretty nice. I will call on those! What about tires? on stock 2013 wheels 245/40/275/35 ok or could I go wider in the rear. I know the stock 2013 wheels are 9.5.

I run Michelin PS4S 255/35 in front and 275/30 or /35 in the rear on those same wheels without rubbing.

Could we go 285 in rear? On the stock wheels? 9.5

Whoops! I had thought you were in OC or LA or north SD xD

I was originally going to get BC BR with 16/14 Swift but they were backordered and so I got what was available at the time while also moving up to BC DS to attempt to compensate for the the stiffer springs. Honestly at half stiffness it rides more firm than stock but not harsh, I have it set to a slightly stiffer dampening setting and love it.

Less harsh than 2008-09, more firm than 12-14. All other F owners who rode/drove in my set up seemed to be surprised how "comfortable" it was, while still being responsive in the corners without harshness. I hit the canyons pretty hard so it does the job for me. Just my input =)

I ran KW v3 on mine, I loved it. HKS Hipermax is another good option, we have them in stock.

285/30 may fit without rubbing depending on the model but I wouldn't recommend it if you at all enjoy responsive handling. Most 285s come with around 10.5" tread width which means the side wall gets pinched and is not well supported on a 9.5" wheel. The only 285/30 that may work well is PS4S as it runs very narrow (9.8"tread width). Otherwise stick with 275/30. This article takes a deep dive on the subject:
