AC/fans stopped working

AC/fans stopped working
Started up the car last night, AC was on, then outta nowhere it sounded like something blew and the AC/fans stopped working (well there was some air blowing but not much. Scared the **** outta me 😂. I heard clunking around the dash when I turned it off. It sounded like it was coming from right behind the infotainment/dash. I tried turning on the AC/fans on again and it was the same result, worked for a few seconds and then the same thing happened.
Anyone experience this before? Know what the problem is? This is the first time in my 4 years of owning 2IS’s that something has broke.

Update: AC is blowing cold and strong today, checked the cabin filter for any debris and there was just a lot of leaves. Replaced the cabin filter so hopefully it’s not an issue… for now.
