Does anyone know or has tried to fit the ML rcf speakers in the ISF with ML? If so was it plug and play?
not really. But I was able to build a small 1sqft sealed enclosure box, (lightweight 1/2 mdf, 3/4” way to rigid. And don’t use standard mdf. Lightweight is better)
then I fit a 10” 8 ohm 50watt shallow sub in there. And offset mounted straight to back seats in the trunk. Only takes away like 6-7 inches and barely noticeable in the trunk. (Replacing the Oem sub afcourse)
All else is OEM amp and speakers.
you can replace speakers if yours are ripped, but make sure you use 8ohm ones, and not too powerful.
biggest improvrment I’ve noticed is that grom Vline Bluetooth really downgrades the streaming quality. (Came with the car when I bought it) So I disconnected it completely and switched to a standard AUX cable (in your center console), and streaming YouTube misic @ highest quality, or from iTunes makes a huge difference. It’s as if gromV would filter things down to 64 bit rate audio.
