Default Brembo vs OEM pads

Has anybody used these brembo ceramic pads and if so how do they compare to the OEM pads?

Others to consider:

Hawk Performance HPS 5.0, Carbotech 1521

I have the Brembo pads and rotors on my 2013 ISF. Put them on last October. Work great and better than OEM in my opinion. Can't beat the pricing either.

I had a very bad experience with Carbotech 1521s. I won't run them again. Their track pads are great, but the 1521s wore out the root of the disc before the outer edge. That's bizarre.

After some digging I ended up going with the Textar pads since it seems like the consensus is that these are the closest to OEM pads for a much better price

So, after owning a few ISFs over the past 12 years, and going through various suggested brake pad/rotor brands, for street and beginner/intermediate track driving, the factory OEM brand performs the best. Tried textar, brembo, carbotech, none of them had the best “balance” for braking feel / performance compared to OEM. It’s as if the OEM parts are manufactured differently. Could be psychological, but there is definitely a difference as the pads wear.

Another option to consider is Ferodo DS2500 Front (FRP3100H) and Project Mu HC+800 Rear (PH8R106). The Ferodo's dust a bit, the HC+800 not so much. But they work well when hot and cold. I like these pads much better than EBC Yellowstuff on this car.

Jurid made the OEM pads for the '08 - '09 models. It was stamped into the backing plates.

I believe Textar was also a supplier in later model ISFs

I've tried all kinds of brands too on the isf
Changed brakes maybe 8 times or more
The Textar is not identical. Even the backing plate is not identical to oem.

Used oem a few times.

Next to try ebc yellow. Might be noisy and we will find out

I have run EBC Yellowstuff on three different cars including ISF for >60k miles and never had a squeak or squeal or screech. Only sound has been a subdued "fffsssss" when rolling up to a stop sign with windows down, same sound on drilled and plain rotors. For those with zero squeal tolerance, Yellows are a safe choice.

I found the Ferodo/PMU recipe above had better cold bite and vastly superior warm bite compared to Yellow. This recipe will dust maybe 25% more than Yellow from aggressive driving and has an occasional subdued squeal when cold, or at least it has for me.
