Why can't I find information pertaining to the IS F's chassis structure construction?
I'm trying to research what materials and methods were used in the construction of the IS F's chassis, however, I'm not finding the information that I seek. First, I can't find the actual press release from Lexus, however, I did find this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...2008-is-f.html
Then, I took a look at the 2006 ISx50 press release:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-releases.html
There is no mention of the chassis, metal stamping, and construction of the structure. Acura mentions their information:
https://acuranews.com/en-US/releases...ra-tl-overview
---------------------------------------------
I wanted to read about how the IS F's chassis was designed because there are so few cars with rust. This is another aspect that I haven't considered until the past several years, as I've been purchasing cars from my bucket list. It seems that the type of metals, coatings, and processes play quite a pivotal role.

There are no press releases regarding this. A long time ago there were some articles from Lexus Racing before they were disbanded regarding chassis stiffness and the improvements they made to chassis stiffness for racing, but those were very short lived.
