Default ISF Whine?

Hello all, I am the owner of a 09 ISF and have a strange possible issue with the car. I have read in the posts about people having a strange whine with the ISF but I have never seen media with the sound. I agree with it being described as a supercharger like sound and cannot tell what to make of it. Is this normal or is this not? Maybe a HPFP or is this a belt? I’ll post a video of the noise and you guys can make opinions. Seeking advice but other than car getting low gas mileage after a spark plug change, it’s 145,000 miles and running strong. Thank you. Seems to occur between 2,500 - 3,500 RPM.

Here is the video, copy and paste. Media was too large to attach.

I do hear something in the higher frequencies but it's not intrusive. Do you have a catback?

I’m now having thoughts it may be the power steering rack although do not have issues with turning or any codes when checked…

The rack is electric. It doesn't make any noises.

If this sounds like an old school hydraulic power steering pump noise, your transmission is making the sound and it does this when the fluid level is low. AMHIK. Fix the low fluid level and you'll not hear that noise again.

I just had a transmission Service done, new Toyota/lexus transmission fluid. I also got the water pump, Motor mounts, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs changed, spark plug gaskets, radiator cap, serpentine belt, new tensioner/idler/pully, new oil, and coolant filled. I have no idea what else could be going on. All OEM parts.

It doesn't mean they serviced the gearbox correctly. Many of us can't even get dealerships to put the correct amount of oil in the engine!

Well Shoot. Where should I go from here? We both (me and mechanic) talked about how much fluid it needed. But I don’t want to kill my transmission. It’s shifting smoother than ever and I cannot afford Lexus dealership rates, I got all this done under 3rd party warranty that saved me the $5,000 bill this all was.

Have him add 4 ounces of ATF and see if it persists. Mine made the whine until I set the level correctly and added 4 ounces, and it has not done it since.
