My guess is that the 5.0 liter will go in the Lexus LF-A, which apparently will NOT get the V-10 it was rumored to be getting.
The LF-A's V-8 is expected to make 500hp, which would be consistent with the 5 liter. It makes more sense for the IS to get the 4.6, which can make more than enough power for its mission while not competing with the LF-A.

Stupid. Manual transmission should at least be offered as an option.
BMW will be doing that soon on some of their SMG only cars. In cars like these, there will always be a market for manual transmissions (not for a 8-sp manual gearbox though
)

)it took me forever to decide if i would sacrifice the fun of stick (250) for more power (350)....
but i figured.... its a fast lux sedan, not really a racecar(imo)

sorry to go off subject here but for a minute, could you imagine trying to drive a full manual transmission with 8 gears. Lol o man that would be hard core
