Very nice. The exhaust is a little wierd, and so was the exhaust on the LF-A concept (3 tips in the center). Is this a new Lexus trend?? Making out of the ordinary exhaust tips?? Intergrated tips in the LS460, maybe stacked and staggered exhaust tips on the IS500...

I was thinking during the debate on if they were going to use the 4.6 or a new 5.0....wouldn't it be smarter to use the 4.6 and tune it up? Less weight towards the front...it's a smaller car so it would be more balanced.

I kind of like the exhaust actually. I really hope that something comes of this car.

I'd rather see an SMG transmission with a manual and automatic mode...similar to what an BMW M3 has.

And of course there's no possibility that I'm infact referring to the test car's exhaust design.

I'd like to see both an SMG type and Manual trannies offered especially if they can get the shift times close to the SMG in the Bimmer. I do think that an SMG with 8 gears will be faster than a true 6? speed manual. With 8 cogs, they'll be able to keep the engine smack dab in the middle of the power band probably as close to a CVT as you can get.

Its a MULE, those ARE NOT production color wheels and that maybe an experimental exhaust. NOT a production ride.

If its stays an auto I do ask for SMG or DSG or something, though a manual would be great, though Lexus manuals have traditionally been far from the best.

I don't think its as much of an issue of Lexus whether Lexus CAN tune the car like a BMW, I always thought whether they are WILLING to do it. Lexus seems to have a philosphy closer to the late model Mercedes in which they try to balance the utmost luxury with good performance. BMW traditionally puts performance and handling as the top priority. We can only wait until production to see how much comfort in the ride Lexus has possibly willing to give up to make sure it is sharper in the turns.

And to someone who brought up whether its lowered or not, i'm guessing it'll sit a little lower than IS_50's, but both pictures are taken in a right hand turn from the left side of the car, so there will be a little squat on that side.

M3 front and rear wheel wells and side intake with a metallic strip thru the middle. I think this artist just thought, well Lexus is making an M3 competitor, they must use the exact same styling cues! lol

I thought it was cool starting with the original LS 400, how they had perfect symmetry for the twin tailpipes on both sides of the rear.

These new ones seem like an interesting, distinctive idea to me and they're actually kinda appealing to me. Of course I really like the LS 460 integrated ones.

And they resemble this previously shown rendering:
