No specs, no test drives..........heck no cars are even out. It's too early to make a decision.

What do I want? M3.

Yep, who knows. Until we get further detail, its all baseless speculation. Toyota has given the green light for sports cars that were rather capable in the past, and they certainly have the ability to put out a rather competitive track car if they wished. I reserve judgement/decision for now, but have more interest in seeing what shapes up over at Lexus (including the rumored LF-A supercar) than I do at BMW for the time being.

BMW may have the performance history, but reliabitily and service are major concerns. I like the direction Lexus is heading with their overall L-finesse designs, and they are definitely closing the gap with the newer and more powerful powertrains. I like Lexus' blend of luxury and performance. Can't wait for the IS500.

vs the 2006 m3, I would take the IS500 but vs. the 2007 m3, it would have to beat 420 hp and kick *** looks so the m3 for now, until we see specs on the is500...

i disagree, people are on here not only because they love lexus, but just because they have simply have one, many people might love their lexus while they have it but then get a benz or something next time around, and you will see that many people have other cars like beamers or mercedes on here as second cars, me being one of them...i would buy an 07 m3 over a is500 for now, but I have a 350 and thats why Im on here, but then again I belong to MBworld and bimmer forums....some people on here might not even have a lexus but like it...w/e just my $.2...
