Both will be sweet, but Lexus reliability was a big reason I chose the 350 over BMW and some others, so I will go with the 500!

Why would you have an IS250 beater if you have an IS500 and a LS600?

Man, two Lexus', I dunno.

Man, we go from this (2750lbs):

To discussing interior, luxury, reliability and suspensions being too stiff? Bah, if you want a real fast luxury car there are plenty today. My vote is for something stripped down, a bit rough/stiff and a bit loud.

Well we both even know the M3 is getting heavier and heavier....Its now what 3300lbs? The new one will surely be near 3500 lbs.....

Most likely, Lexus will produce the car.
I think you guys hear what you want to hear.

Downplay: "That sounds like a rumor. We have not made any decisions."

Downright Dismissal: "Not only have we not officially announced it, but it is a dumb idea and would reduce the car's capability"

If Lexus was serious about this car, they would have stopped short of insulting the idea. They were far more kind with the possibility of the IS430, yet they still didn't produce it.

FWIW, this comparison is ridiculous. Might as well ask what badge people would prefer--it's just as credible given the lack of information we have on the future of these cars.

2006 yr model is350 hangs with a 2001 yr old M3.

2007 335i blows the is350

neither the is350 or m3 is going to murder the other one.

Are you implying that these two cars, even if imaginary, would be apples and oranges in any kind of comparison? Please explain.
