I am going to disagree. I drove the 330i and is350 back to back at the Lexus event and it's pretty clear in terms of driving pleasure the 330i wins hands down.
Before is350 came out Lexus made similar claim it's going to be a better performing car than BMW 3 series. Cheaper, more reliable and drive as well as a BMW, boy was I excited. I was sold until I drove it. Two years after its release still no manual, not even SMG/DSG. This time around I am going with BMW. Just placed deposit on the new M. Sell the M after the 3 free years of maintenance then get something more reliable.

I'll take the IS-F In fact, after I'm done with school in a year, this car is at the top of my list of "graduation rewards" for myself
The M3 is nice; but I think the BMW fanboys are totally confusing themselves here. These cars aren't sports cars. They are grand touring cars. Sports cars don't weigh over 3400lbs. The F will handle at least close to as well on paper as the BMW and for MOST people that's all that will matter (outside of California I guess, where EVERYONE seems to be another Michael Schumacher )
For me, in a grand tourer, as long as it drives well and not like a boat; and in this case, has a nice amount of power; it will fulfill its role.
In that case, I'll take the car that will have more of these factors involved: price, reliability, dealership service, and comfort. All of which, the Lexus will win.
For handling, I'll take my Nissan up against the M3 any day Power included too Its the great deal of having a "toy" as well as a DD; and I think the IS-F will be a far better DD than the M3
