I can't really say if I like the looks of the car that much. BMW, Mercedes, and Audi took their base cars and gave it a few tweaks to make it look more aggressive. Lexus on the other hand, added too many lines and bulges, especially the front hood. But if that's what it takes to clear the engine, then I guess we'll have to live with it. I'm sure it'll perform well on a straight line race.

Well they sort of Bangle-ized it, but it all depends on whether the target market likes it or not. The car stands out, for better or worse. I tend to think that overall it looks pretty cool, yes polarizing, but cool.
Thx for the pics btw!

Just a little teaser for now....it's been so cold in Detroit, Lexus stepped it up with the official NAIAS 07 Lexus Vanilla Lip Balm. This is the front wheel btw.

I think an aggressive (if polarizing) design is exactly what Lexus needed to make a splashy entry into this segment. They've got everyone's attention, so now all the car has to do is perform well Anyways if there are some design elements that the public just generally hates, they can also do a model refresh 1-2 years in like BMW did with the 7's ugly a** rear lights.

Exactly. I have to see in person to decide what things I would fix though.
Blue was an excellent choice. More flashy than the silver, but not overpowering like the red.
What is the name of this blue color? Lightspeed Blue?
