The RS4 sounds phenomenal as well. The IS-F & RS-4 are two different beasts but with the same purpose. They both have their own distinct sound. It's going to be an interesting comparison though. Lexus vs. The Europeans.

Yeah, imo the RS4 sounds phenomenal as well. I was just asking if the IS-F engine note sounded similar to the RS4 or completely different in person. It's going to be great next year for fans of sports cars w/the arrival of the IS-F, M3 & GT-R in addition to the RS4.

I don't think anyones gonna be able to fairly compare until we hear the IS-F revving while screaming towards the redline. The sound at idle is gonna be nothing compared to the engine+exhaust under full load

Who said anything about the sound at idle? I figured flip909 heard the engine revving based on his video (though not all the way to redline), so I was just asking him about that compared to the RS4.
