The IS-F will have between 400-500 HP and cost anywhere between 55k and 70k. For that price and horsepower, what other vehicles can compete with it in terms of performance, size, luxury, etc???
there are the obvious choices of M3 or the Audi. The Cadillac also has the V-Series which is impressive and of course the MB AMG class. For the American companies, there is always the Corvette or the new Mustang.
I am intersted because i'm looking to get into one of these cars and was wondering which other cars are in the same "class" and the pros/cons.
I know its a bit early because we dont know if the IS will be a 2 or 4 dr and what other specs it may or may not have.
I personally would have to decide between the IS-F or the Audi.

Honestly, as good looking and as sweet as my car is, I'd buy an RS4 (black/black) in less than a heartbeat, if I could afford it. I mean, c'mon. That car is INCREDIBLE.
For that price, in 2 doors, you could easily get a cayman/boxster, audi tt, lotus exige, an ariel atom, or 2 solstices and a sky.

Dabig --
I highly doubt there will be a cayman turbo, because even the cayman/boxster s is pushing the boundary. Porsche has admitted that they won't make their "entry" models any more powerful or faster, because they'd be impinging on sales of their own 911. Speaking of which, if you're willing to drop 70k, you could get a stripped down 911...but who would want that?

It's a great performance bargain, but even with a nav and an upgraded interior, it is still based on an economy car (Lancer), and the huge wing and other appendages absolutely scream "boy racer". May not be an issue for some, but those who drive clients and execs around will probably want something a bit more classy.
