IS-F vs M3: M3 Wins by Landslide in a POLL I Made on another forum
Here's the link, 65% like the M3 better only 25% for the IS-F and rest for the RS4.
This is bodybuilding.com so I think they aren't biased (not like here or a bmw forum).
If you are not allowed to post links from another site, I apologize.

I don't see what is to be gained out of putting up polls about the M3 vs the IS-F.
Sorry. Its ridiculous. The M3 will probably win everytime because it is an established performance Sedan. Once the IS-F comes out and hopefully it will live up to the F1 influence then.. judging can be called. But even then! It will boil down to taste. I really don't believe there will be too much cross shopping between M3 and IS-F buyers. M3 buyers will be your enthusiasts and IS-F buyers are looking for Luxory with added Sport -- real sport this time unlike our current IS. If a BMW shopper comes toward Lexus then he obviously wasn't happy with the "Ultimate Driving Experience." Or so thats how I see it!
I swear the whole M3 vs IS-F debate is like Wii Fan Boys against PS3 fan boys.

If the IS-F came out with a manual + 2dr you might have a chance.. but Lexus never wanted to be a driver's car, and BMW will always have that spot because the Japanese are not willing to sacrifice costs and reliability to compete in a segment that is largely based on motorsport heritage and prestiege. Lexus only got to where it is today based on a niche - customer service and quality cars which over time gained popularity with those Audi/bmw/merc owners who are sick of overpaying and getting bad reliability for their cars.
for the pure sports sedan/coupe enthusiats, the BMW, especially the M, will always win. If Lexus builts a car starting with driving dynamics/experience first, then it is in the right direction to challenge the M. As it is now, looks like the IS-F is only good enough to be considered to be with the AMG's, which also lacked a manual but is lightning fast to drive.

LEXUS IS-350 2dr??
I don't know how I found this picture but I do know I have something new on my "Concept Wish-List"
I wonder if it has anything to do with the IS-F?....Anyone?

It's 57% to 43% now...
Anyhow, what do you expect? The IS-F is not even released yet, no one has publicly driven it. The M3 is a well-established vehicle.
That the IS-F got significant support before it's even out means it has a chance.
