Yes, 5.0 liter v8. It's even published in the latest Lexus magazine.

This damn car is killing me. I want to love it, but that bulging hood is not working. I hate BMW. I don't want to give them props for anything, but when you look at the M3, the essential 3 Series lines are preserved. When you look at the IS-F, I don't think that anybody could argue that this is not the case. What makes this even more disturbing is that the IS is a flat *** gorgeous car. If Lexus could have maintained those lines...with that body...Jesus, you have yourself a hot chick with a 130 IQ, and a personality to match. You do the math.

Is the steering wheel stitching blue or is that a reflection?

Blue it is. For some reason, the Japanese designers have taken a blue theme to alot of new products. For example, the blue needles on the cluster of the IS-F, the blue accent of the F badge...also the blue outlines of the HYBRID models, specifically the new LS600hL with the blue radar cruise grille badge. Very subtle but blue is the favorite.

I like the interior. The hood I can deal with but the front bumper looks out of proportion and the rear tail pipes are ugly IMO. Like the wheels and the tail lights though. The fender, I'm not too sure about but they could grow on me.

Great stuff as usual Flip. BTW, have they let you drive it yet? If not, think they'll give some of you and others who got the IS350 preview a shot before the public?
