The IS-F arrived in SoCal's Backyard! (NO 56K)
Last year's surprise at Toyotafest '06 was the Carizzma Blue Pearl Team Lexus IS350. This year, the surprise at Toyotafest '07 was the new 2008 Lexus IS-F. This is the same one of a kind Ultrasonic Blue Pearl that I first saw in Detroit, and the same one that has traveled all over the US including a trip to Geneva.
Here are some pics I took of the IS-F including some rare comparison shots with the Lexus IS350 Pace Car. I did not focus on the interior this time around. I will take more interior shots on my next encounter with the car. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting those pics Flipside. Very appreciated. The shots gave me enough prespective to start providing an opinion about the car's exterior appearance. Almost everything I see I like about the IS-F so far.
I say almost because the one thing so far that doesn't appeal to me is the way the front bumper wraps around the front tire. It makes the car feel like 19 inches is too small for the car. I don't know if anybody else got that impression, but the latest angles from flipside's shots gave me that impression. The rear looks fine (at least in my opinion.)
What do you guys think?
Regards,

I've never really liked it too much seeing it in pics, but will reserve final judgement til I see it in person.
The part that still bothers me the most is the tail pipes definitely though . . .

I think Lexus needs to add more colors than the common blue, black, white, gray, red. I love to see some brown and green colors, I think it would stand out much more and make it bit more exclusive.
By the way, thanks for the pics.

Brown and Green? are you for real? I dont think those colors will sell well even in a mass produced car let alone one that is limited.
