i agree bcuz a fully loaded is350 is n the neighborhood of 45K and the is-f is first of all kinda special edition car like m cars or amg second its had at least 100 more hp and bigger rims bigger brakes not to mention the brakes bein made by brembo and probably some other crap lexus will charge u for which we will hav no idea about until the car comes out so im gonna say that 55k-57K fully loaded wud b reasonable but i wudnt doubt that it could go as high as 60K-62K but of course lexus is bein gay and doesnt wanna giv any pricing out so i gues we'll jus hav to wait and c...

I am guessing it will be 60k+. Hell the 350 is 4-5K more than the 250 and the only thing that is different is the brakes. Hell the motor is the same just a different bore and stroke. So what makes you think the ISF will be any less than 15K more? Hell if it were 55-57K I would buy one in a heart beat.

the difference btw a 250 and 350 is not jus brakes buddy thers a reason y one is a 250 and one is a 350 the biggest thing is 100 more hp thats the reason it has bigger brakes in the first place and thers some other xtra crap that the 350 has the 250 doesnt like i said it could defintly get as high as 60K-62K but some people r thinkin its gonna b n the mid 60 range which is unrealistic

Stopped in dealer 2 days ago to look at a IS350. The salesman of course brought up the IS-F and said its going to start at $60,129. I think I heard him right. Basically $60k and change. I was hoping for $55-58k. Gas guzzler tax will probably add $2k (thats my guess - he didn't bring it up).

I don't know, for that kinda cash, I'd lean towards the more expensive RS-4 and get AWD and more headroom. I live up north, not in Florida or California.

PS - He also told me the IS350 XF package (which is the X package with the moonroof delete) is not offered anymore. That sux since I love the car but only fit in it with my head tilted to the right and the sun shade open. Someone please tell me the salesman is pullin' my chain. If its true, I highly doubt the IS-F will have a moonroof delete option (like the RS-4 does). So for all you people wishing you were a few inches taller, be happy you're not!

Lexus is trying to work it so it falls right below that threshold, which is the reason why for their continuous R&D as we speak. We will have to wait and see what they come up with once the R&D has been completed and the final stats come out for the car.

I don't think LS 460 with V8, 380 HP has gas guzzler tax! But I am already paying 60k for car... I can pay 2k more too! although i wish it gives a overall mileage of 22+ bcoz of rise in gas prices!

yeah flipside is right we wont kno if thers gonna b a gas guzzler tax until the final stats come out bcuz i jus recently found out that the tax doesnt depend on how big the engine is but how good the gas mileage is... hopefully it will b similar to that of the LS but the IS-F engine is tuned differently and its probably gonna hav a negative effect on the mpg

PS... Manoj is right too the LS doesnt hav a gas guzzler tax

I think pricing on the IS-F will be highly competetitive. I'm guessing that the base price will be in the very low $50K range and that a fully loaded one will be close to $60K. If Lexus prices it higher than this, then they are making a BIG mistake, IMO. I hope some Lexus executives are listening here

For what it's worth, today one dealer in my area said that a fully loaded IS-F would be about $55K. Is this just speculation on their part, or do dealers get information from a source at Lexus? To me, it seems like just a guess because no IS-F pricing info has been released publicly by Lexus. Does anyone know the official word on when Lexus will release the final specifications, options, and pricing information? Perhaps the press release in August?

I am debating. How fast is the IS 350. One magazine I think it was Motor trend timed it 0-60 4.9 sec. numbers for the F 4.6 maybe 4.5. I am not sure that on the numbers alone is worth the xtra money. Unles it out performs the new M3

Same thought in my head. I say the average 350 to 60 will do it in 5.1 and the average f will do it in 4.6 so in the quarter thats half a car length
